3.3min Read This is super important. Doing this one thing could in fact change your life forever… I want you to think about what your perfect day looks like. Down to the food you eat and the drinks you drink and who you share those with. From the second you wake up, to the second you go to bed, think about that day. Think about the perfect work that you would want to be doing (or lack there of) Think about the things you’d want to do with your family or the meals that you cook, the workouts you have, the place where you live, all of it. Then— write it down. That’s the next very important part. You can’t just think it. I want you to see it. Put it into words, in chronological order. Walk yourself through the timeline of the day from start to finish so that you can see it all laid out. Last thing, I want you to save that timeline in a place that’s easy to access. If you want to print it out, go for it. I personally have mine pinned as a note in my phone so that it’s always near the top. If you don’t want to do this, no one is going to force you. But be honest with yourself— do you really have an image in your mind’s eye of what that day looks like for you? It’s like starting on a road trip and you’re the driver and your passenger is like “where are we going?” And you’re like “I don’t know…” BUT KEVIN, WHAT I WANT ISN'T OBTAINABLE! Well not with that attitude it’s not! I say all this because I’m living proof that the perfect day you design in your head will eventually take shape. Without knowing it, my course has been altered through a series of decisions I’ve made and opportunities that have presented themselves where I am now doing MANY of the things that I once wrote down as a perfect day. There are plenty of things still not there, but we’re getting closer. The CRAZY thing here is that I didn’t just get an influx of money and all of a sudden was able to make these things happen. In fact I took a HUGE leap of faith, out of security, a steady paycheck, benefits and retirement. Some might call that a net negative, but I know that it’s actually me closer to my perfect day than ever before. This exercise isn’t for me. It’s for you. Actually, no— it’s for future you. Don’t do this for present you, do this for FUTURE you. Then thank future me later 😉 If you want someone to share what you wrote down with, I’d love to hear it. If you want to hear mine, I shared it on a podcast a while back here starting at about 5:12 in the episode... BITES 🍩 Bite 1 - Just Do It 🍩 BITE 1 There will ALWAYS be excuses to not do something. Ordinary people use those everyday. You’re not ordinary though. 🍩BITE 2 Until next time... Stay in the fight, My best tweet this week:

An entrepreneur's recipe for sweet success 2.6min Read Because I don’t know if what I’m about to do is going to work. But I think it’s important that I at least try. So if this IS the last one... I appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for tuning in. Ok. Now that I got the hook out of the way (and possibly got you to keep reading)... I’m going to keep writing these emails. The only question is whether the email platform I’m building to replace the one I pay for every year will actually...
An entrepreneur's recipe for sweet success 3.5min Read October 16, 2025 was my last day as a police officer. Listen to this instead: HERE As you're reading this, it's been a full year since I left a career I thought I'd spend 30 years in. I didn't want to spend those 30 years there, but I didn't feel like I had another choice.BUT... I did believe I was meant to do bigger things. So in the background, for those 10 years, I experimented. I tinkered. I chased a lot of shiny objects. So if you...
An entrepreneur's recipe for sweet success 2.8min Read If you haven’t seen the movie Slumdog Millionaire... watch it when you can. I’ve referenced it a couple of times over the years, and I believe that movie is a brilliant representation of what is available to each and every one of us in life. I’m not saying everyone is going to make a million dollars or end up on a game show like that. What I’m saying is that as we go through life, every experience we have, everything we go through,...
