Things I learned this week that you should know

2.9min Read

This email really has it all. Here are the main points incase you want to skip learning some really freaking cool stuff. Totally up to you… NO pressure ;)

  • I talked to a dude building an AI agent that will literally become your cofounder and business partner
  • I had a call with a deca-millionaire who is younger than me… and it’s not Taylor Swift. She’s a little older than me, but good guess
  • I learned how to take an idea from IG, find demand for it, turn it into a product and build it into a LEGIT business… all without spending a dime of my own money

ALSO

I’m going an AI in your business — 2026 addition, presentation this week and I’m going to use this email as a way to get some of thee ideas out there. You’re my guinea pigs… I hope you’re okay with that.

Let’s jump in!

Cofounder AI Agent

This is absolutely insane. Follow me on this here. There’s this new thing called Clawbot… now called OpenClaw, which is basically an autonomous AI agent that gets to know you, you can work with and it will take proactive action to do what you need it to do.

I talked to a guy that has taken these capabilities and prompted it to become his cofounder and business partner. He gave it free reign of his files and accounts and it went to work.

He started posting about it on social media and his agent started reading the comments and noticed a demand.

The agent then proposed the business idea and started building it out for this guy… What in the world! He now has 450 pre-launch sign ups and will be netting $10k/ mo at launch

Decamillionaire

Ok so this was a cool one, but if I’m being honest, it was also a bummer.

Maybe I caught him at a bad time, but he didn’t seem really interested in talking with me. The whole purpose for me chatting with him was to see if he would be a good fit for The Koerner Office podcast.

And while this guy has made MILLIONS in real estate and then his coaching businesses, he wasn’t super down to earth. Which was a turn off. And ultimately won’t land him a spot.

BUT, he has built some amazing things.

Biggest takeaway here from him was he went ALL IN on real estate. Emptied his retirement, sold his truck, lived frugal for a while as he built this up… And it worked. He now coaches other people how to do it and runs a very lucrative company managing all of that.

From Idea to Product

Ok so this one is SUPER rad! It’s also from a fellow subscriber here, so it makes it feel extra special. Dan, the founder behind these sick mats is a good buddy of mine and was kind enough to hop on a call with me to share his story. He’ll also be on The Koerner Office podcast in the near future, so keep an eye out. I’m giving you the 10,000 foot view here, but Dan is a genius. Here’s how it went down:

  • He saw a cool mat like this a while back and shared it with his IG page.
  • People loved it and were asking where to get one
  • He saw the demand and started sourcing a manufacturer
  • He then found an investor to write a check for the first product
  • He sold those and continued posting. They became a hit
  • He raised money for the second round and hit the number in 12 days
  • Year to date he's made over 100k on this and is building some INCREDIBLE thing on top of it
  • This was all from a simple idea he saw on IG that he ran with.
  • He had ZERO experience in all of this before. Self taught through YouTube and ChatGPT
  • YOU CAN JUST DO THINGS

Ok, I’m a sugar free Redbull deep here now and fired up. The next section here will be the breakdown of what I’m going to cover for the AI Business Presentation. Steal it and use it for your own presentation if you want. ;)

This is a very 101 level class on AI, but the points here are very important to note. These should be the standard for how you use AI.

Opening:

  • I will share that even though I use AI everyday in many ways, I do NOT use AI to write my content. 1) because I love to write and 2) because the human touch in that way is still very important.
  • There is more of a need for humans being humans now than EVER before.
  • But that doesn’t mean we get to or should ignore this. AI is not going to take away that need.
  • And because we still need HUMANS doing HUMAN things, it’s so important that as humans, we use AI and put our personal touch on it.
  • This happened with the printing press, the industrial revolution, the personal computer, the internet and now AI. It will continue to happen and it’s OUR JOBS as humans to use these tools to make us more efficient and being human… a weird paradox.
  • AI is the orchestra and I am the conductor
  • It’s not here to replace you, it’s here to help us leverage our time better and to work on the the things that we WANT to work on.

WHAT I’LL COVER

  • Whisper Flow Demo
Here I will show how to brain dump and distill those ideas into something clear
  • ChatGPT with Projects
I’ll share how to take tons of material and organize them in a project within ChatGPT
  • NotebookLM
We will dive into loading material and then using it for mind maps, slide deck, video, podcast, or just chatting with it
  • Designing Prompts
    Role, context, outcome, constraints, format
  • Competition Analysis
I’ll show how to take your industry and deep dive into competitor analysis
  • Client Breakdown
Showing how I used NotebookLM to put together a very comprehensive presentation
  • Document / PDF Analyzer
Taking a large PDF and breaking it down
  • Web/ Mobile app build (time pending)

Wow. Ya that was a lot! I’m so pumped for the presentation. I’ll make sure to record it and share the link with you after.

No BITES today since that was already a lot to digest!

Until next time...

I usually write them on Thursdays and I literally don't schedule anything else in the early morning so that I can do this. It's a treat. So to think that I ALMOST had AI write this for me is WILD. Mainly because: I never thought that AI would really be able to portray my writing voice. It's not formal by any means. There's random...
