This Is How To Take Your Ideas and Make Them A Reality

I know you have ideas that keep you up at night or that you think another you’re driving to and from work.
These are the ideas that you think about when you’re watching a movie and 10 min in, you realize you have no idea what’s going on because you’ve been too deep in thought.
Or when you’re out with friends and you’re holding a surface conversation but really you’re thinking about these ideas of things you want to build.
We all have them, but the differentiator between being like everyone else and being GREAT is what you do with those ideas.
While I am in constant iteration of what that actual flow looks like, this email will cover the blueprint of my workflow from ideation to reality and attempt at monetization. I say “attempt” because even though the money is a SWEET reward, you can’t aim for that...
You need to aim for repetitions 🔁. Shots at the goal 🎯. Practice with this process ⏳. Become a master of action 🏆. — When you do, I believe the money will fall into place 💸… at least that’s my theory.
THE ACTION BLUEPRINT: [Step by step] The idea comes into my head. It could be something I read, something I heard, something I saw, a variation of something that exists. Whatever. The idea is formed.
I immediately write this down in my iPhone notes. I have thousands of notes, but my brain dump/ to-do note is where everything goes from the start. I need to get it down fast so I don’t lose it.
Most of the time, I don’t have the ability to deep dive right then. That’s why I write it down. But later, I come back and start digging in.
Next is the “flesh out” phase. I take this idea and open chat GPT. I either text or voice record anything and everything I can think of with the idea. the target audience, the flow, the mission, the operations. EVERYTHING. I’m not worried about being accurate or factual. It’s just about getting it out there.
At this point I ask GPT to help me further flesh the idea out. I use this prompt: Ask me one question at a time so we can develop a thorough, step-by-step spec for this idea. Each question should build on my previous answers, and our end goal is to have a detailed breakdown I can build upon. Let’s do this iteratively and dig into every relevant detail. Remember, only one question at a time.
This might take a little bit of time as I work through everything. In this phase, there are plenty of ideas that didn’t make it through. I realize it’s not as feasible as I originally thought, or there are variables I don’t like or something else that pops up that turns me off. This is a FILTER PHASE. You need these filters through the process to test both YOU and the idea.
From the filter phase, you’ll enter into the research phase. This is all the same in my mind, but it’s important to separate here on the steps so that you actually do it. Research is easier now than it’s ever been. Right in GPT you can use deep research or any other LLM out there to find what you need to know. Even just “old school” Google works fine. Other sources I like to use are Reddit, YouTube or even FB groups to see what’s out there or what people are talking about.
This next phase is where the rubber meets the road. You’ve now processed through the idea, you believe that it’s possible AND needed, now what? Well, you need to do something about it. It’s SO easy to stop here and hold this idea tight. But what you do next is what separates you from the pack. Maybe it’s an app, maybe it’s a business, maybe it’s a book, maybe it’s content to post… whatever it is, just do something that moves the needle
I know that’s broad. And I wrote it like that for a couple reasons. 1) because I’m not talking about any specific idea here and 2) because at this point it’s not WHAT you do, it’s just that you DO SOMETHING that matters.
Take this idea that you’ve vetted and “send it”. This looks different for everyone and for every idea, but the concept remains— throw it out into the world and see how it lands. For MANY cases, I’d recommend just running FB ads to really test the business (if it is a business) before you build too much out. This will help you vet it even further and narrow down your targeting
Different ways to “send it”
post your video
Share your rough draft on a social platform
Build the MVP of your app and give it to friends to use
Start your business as a service and take on ONE client
Set up your camera, hit record, then publish it without editing
From this point, it’s a matter of gathering feedback, taking the good and the bad and modifying as you see fit. Scaling and growth are totally separate conversations. The first hurdle is just taking your idea and putting action behind it.
Once I’ve fleshed out, filtered and vetted the idea, I’ll get to work.
for apps I use Replit, loveable, cursor or any other no code tools
For my content I share most of it to Twitter but also through my newsletter or YouTube
For my businesses, it’s all situational, but I make sure that action is being taken. Setting up websites, Google profiles, phone lines, subcontractors needed, fb pages, meta ads, etc. one thing at a time just chipping away.
This process isn’t perfect, nor is it everything that’s involved, but it’s a start. And that’s really all you need to do something great.
BITES — That was a long intro so I’ll keep the bites small for you today. BITE 1 — Create an app out of your brain BITE 2 — Mysterpreneur Link BITE 3 — The AI juice 🧃
BITE 1 — Create an app out of your brain 🧠 The content you have is valuable. But it could be even more valuable than you might have thought. We now have the ability to upload any and all content that we are involved with / create to platforms that organize it, analyze it and can create an app that can answer how YOU would answer. Chris Koerner did this here using Delphi.ai ➡ https://www.delphi.ai/chris-koerner. Every piece of his content has been uploaded here, and now people can chat with it as if they are asking Chris. Just imagine what prolific creators could do with their content. Or even on a small scale, what you could do with your work. Mind blown.
BITE 3 — The AI juice 🧃 I’ll keep this super simple and basic. AI continues to expand and change. Like almost daily. Don’t get hung up on all the different models or software or apps or programs or whatever that you see coming out. Instead focus on understanding how you can leverage AI. What things are you doing daily that could be automated. What things do you want to build that you weren’t able to in the past. What research do you need that would normally take a while… start with that and then find the “proper AI” to complete those tasks, and remember, we are EARLY in AI.

I appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for tuning in. Ok. Now that I got the hook out of the way (and possibly got you to keep reading)... I’m going to keep writing these emails. An entrepreneur's recipe for sweet success 2.8min Read If you haven’t seen the movie Slumdog Millionaire... watch it when you can. I’ve referenced it a couple of times over the years, and I believe that movie is a brilliant representation of what is available to each and every one of us in life. I’m not saying everyone is going to make a million dollars or end up on a game show like that. What I’m saying is that as we go through life, every experience we have, everything we go through,...
