2.5min Read As with the rest of my emails to you, I don't hold anything back and I don't plan to. Entrepreneurship is a team sport and I also believe in the law of abundance. There really is enough to go around. With that said, I wanted to pull back the curtain on how content is produced and distributed by one of the big dogs in the industry, Chris Koerner. And at the end I share how this can be replicated by creators like you and I.
So somehow, I went from being a cop to now being the Director of Community and Media Operations... Wild. The overview: This same situation is common among the team. Character > Skill All that is cool, but how can we replicate this without needing to have a team of 11 and when we don't have 5M followers (yet)?? You do this: 1. Create an account on each of the platforms 2. Start a spreadsheet in google sheets with tab for each of the platforms 3. In the columns have “date posted, link, text, views, reposts, replies” 4. Post once a day to each of the platforms. At first that might take an hour or so if you don't totally have your message dialed in. But when you start to see what works, you lean in that direction 5. Keep an eye on what posts are generating the most views/ engagement (this is where the spreadsheet comes in) 6. Post more of content based on those metrics you’re seeing 7. Rinse and repeat Figuring out your message is a longer conversation. I believe that EVERYONE has a message the world should hear. And especially other entrepreneurs and business owners. You are in the trenches doing the thing that many dream of. Your story deserves to be told. All this is going to be solo yolo at first. You will be the editor, the writer, the poster, the graphic designer, everything… but eventually, when you can afford it, the team will come. Having this sheet and having produced the content for yourself for so long, you will easily be able to hand off some of these roles as needed. Wow, that was written in one breath pretty much! So much more where that came from. Stick around and I’ll show you how I take what I’m learning from Chris so that you can apply it to YOUR content as well. An entrepreneur's recipe for sweet success 3.1 min Read But it didn't… But ALMOST. Which is crazy for me to say because I absolutely love writing these each week. I usually write them on Thursdays and I literally don't schedule anything else in the early morning so that I can do this. It's a treat. So to think that I ALMOST had AI write this for me is WILD. Mainly because: I never thought that AI would really be able to portray my writing voice. It's not formal by any means. There's random...
