1.9min Read You also don’t have to do it all… at least not all at once. I am the biggest offender of doing too much. If you’ve been with me here for a bit you already know, but sometimes… SOMETIMES, it gets to be too much. MOST of the time I thrive with TONS of things going on. I’m always thinking of new ideas, pushing the needle forward with my current builds and still finding the time to connect with others on their things… oh ya and my full time job, 3 kids and wife… like I said, I handle it well MOST of the time… But there are some days that it all just feels too much. Too many balls, too many ideas swirling, too much to do, too little time. I know I’m not the only one that experiences this. This can surface in so many other ways. It’s not just hustle related. This is LIFE related. If you are a human, an ambitious, motivated, person that has dreams and wants to do things more than just take up space… then you are going to feel this at ONE POINT. So what does it mean? What do you do? What should I do? … seriously. Any thoughts? 🤣 Well— here’s my hot take This means that you’re pushing your comfort zone. And feeling uncomfortable is just a sign that your old comfort zone is having a hard time keeping up with you. David Goggins talks about the governor in our minds that stop us from reaching our full potential. When you are feeling overloaded, it’s because you are… but I truly believe that we adapt to our environment and become capable of handling that new level of overload What should you do?? With that said, you should take a step back for a day or two, really look through the things that you’re doing and what your “mission” is. Reassess as needed and then… keep going. I believe in you. I don’t know if this helped. This is also not super polished nor is it a step by step process of solving this problem. I’m going to keep on adding things in and chasing all the things that my heart desires… but I’m also going to be very intentional about eliminating the junk and honing in on what really truly matters. As Gary V has famously said: "I’m the least f**ing focused f**er you’ll ever meet. I have a f**ing wine company, a shoe deal, content, VaynerMedia, a f**ing Wine Library, Gary Vee f**ing baseball cards I’m trying to sell. If you’re a real entrepreneur, you kind of can’t just do one thing. That’s how we’re f**ed up. I’m gonna come up with three business ideas in the next hour, and I’m gonna do that every day, and I’ll probably do two of them in the year, because that’s what makes us happy. You can do both." BITE 🍩 Until next time... Stay in the fight, My best tweet this week:

An entrepreneur's recipe for sweet success 2.6min Read Because I don’t know if what I’m about to do is going to work. But I think it’s important that I at least try. So if this IS the last one... I appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for tuning in. Ok. Now that I got the hook out of the way (and possibly got you to keep reading)... I’m going to keep writing these emails. The only question is whether the email platform I’m building to replace the one I pay for every year will actually...
An entrepreneur's recipe for sweet success 3.5min Read October 16, 2025 was my last day as a police officer. Listen to this instead: HERE As you're reading this, it's been a full year since I left a career I thought I'd spend 30 years in. I didn't want to spend those 30 years there, but I didn't feel like I had another choice.BUT... I did believe I was meant to do bigger things. So in the background, for those 10 years, I experimented. I tinkered. I chased a lot of shiny objects. So if you...
An entrepreneur's recipe for sweet success 2.8min Read If you haven’t seen the movie Slumdog Millionaire... watch it when you can. I’ve referenced it a couple of times over the years, and I believe that movie is a brilliant representation of what is available to each and every one of us in life. I’m not saying everyone is going to make a million dollars or end up on a game show like that. What I’m saying is that as we go through life, every experience we have, everything we go through,...
